Robust terrain fencing at Roermond distribution centre
A new state-of-the-art distribution centre has been constructed at Roerstreek Noord Business Park to the east of Roermond. The new distribution centre was completed in the second half of 2021. Bosch Beton supplied L retaining walls with heel to provide robust terrain fencing and to absorb height difference.
The new distribution centre on the business park in Roermond comprises over 33,000 square metres of built area. Our L retaining walls with heel were chosen to separate the grounds from the adjacent site. We have enjoyed working with Hecker for many years and they contacted us again for this project.
We supplied a total of one hundred L250 retaining walls with heel. Some of these were placed using a heavy truck-mounted crane to ensure that the deep placement of the retaining walls (some 1.5 metres lower than the level of the truck-mounted crane) did not result in problems. After placement of the retaining walls, another company installed fencing on top of the walls.
L retaining walls for civil engineering
The Bosch Beton L retaining wall with heel was developed especially for medium load applications in civil engineering. L retaining wall corner elements with heel are also available for corner solutions. Our retaining walls have the necessary certification and also comply with NEN construction standards within KOMO Product certification.
