New car park at Aldi in Abstatt
Bosch Beton was commissioned by Heim Infrastruckturbau to supply LRH retaining walls in Abstatt for the new-build Aldi branch. The new store also needed more parking and to create this, we placed our ‘heavy’ retaining walls. Almost thirty standard and special walls were transported to Germany.
Good preparation
The former Aldi branch in Abstatt was being replaced by a larger and more modern branch. We placed LR retaining walls at the Aldi car park varying in heights from 1.5 to 4 metres over a total length of more than 56 metres.
The project required considerable preparation and good coordination with all involved parties, which ensured that everything ran smoothly during construction. The result is certainly impressive! It also resulted in an extremely satisfied customer.
The reopening of the modern and extended Aldi store is planned for November 2022.
Car park
Bosch Beton has experience in placing retaining walls for car park construction. We previously delivered retaining walls at the KNVB in Zeist to realise the updated campus car park.
LR retaining walls
We developed the so-called, ‘Heavy’ retaining wall especially for the heaviest load applications in civil engineering. The angled back ensures a good dimensionally stable straight retaining wall after installation. If needed, the wall can be given a brickwork or other finish after placement.
