Van boom tot resthout in opslag
Rondhoutzagerij Midden Nederland in Uddel makes beams and planks from trees for packaging and transport, including for the pallet industry and agriculture. Bosch Beton installed 6.3-metre-high retaining walls on the site for storage.
In addition to the sawdust released during sawing, the residual wood is used to produce woodchips for MDF and particle board plants, and pellets for incinerating in boilers. Different types of sawdust are stored in the variously-sized storage. Extra high walls are needed for this, of some 6.30 metres.
Retaining wall construction
For this project we used the L Retaining walls which enable you to construct sustainable structures for bulk storage, in this case sawdust, woodchips and pellets. The retaining walls are strong, can be erected quickly and are available in heights of up to 7 metres. Everything was delivered as agreed in advance and the collaboration ran perfectly.
