Five new silage clamps for dairy farm in Schoorl
Firma Mulder is a dairy farm in Schoorl (NL) with over 200 dairy cows. The dairy farmer has been constructing his home and farm just outside Schoorl for some fifteen years. Bosch Beton has been involved since 2016, helping the farmer come up with ideas and offering advice.

Five silage clamps
We placed four new silage clamps on the farm. Two of 52 metres long and 2.5 metres high, one silo of 40 metres long and 2.5 metres high and another of 28 metres long and 2 metres high. We used our LAS retaining walls with sloping top to construct the silage clamps, with lower retaining walls for the rear walls. We also constructed manure storage of some 10 metres long, 10 metres wide and 2 metres high with fixed corners.
Finish
All silage clamps were equipped with a Bosch Beton dual gutter before being sealed with bitumen sealant. Avema Wegenbouw laid asphalt on the silo floors and across the entire farmyard.
It was great to be involved in this project, help the farmer develop his ideas and offer sound advice. Our client is extremely pleased with the end result.
